Sydni became an AKC Champion on May 4, 2008 showing from the Puppy Classes and the Bred by Exhibitor Classes.  This qualified her to compete in the 2008 Eukanuba Invitational, following in the footsteps of her sire, “Luke” – CH SF Adams The Chosen One and her grandfather “Max” – CH SF Maxwell Smart.  She was the youngest of my dogs to finish to date – at just one week over one year of age.

Sydni has a “Look at Me” attitude and loves the attention she gets.  She makes her presence known wherever she goes.  In September 2008 she was awarded Best Puppy in the Properties Classes by Judge Leigh Ann Yandle-Perry at the 2008 ACDCA National in Shartlesville, PA.

Sydni began her “official” show career at the 2007 ACDCA Nationals in Mt Vernon, WA in September.  She won third place in the Properties Classes for 3 – 6 month Puppy Bitch (she was too young to be entered in the AKC Shows) and  2nd place in Best headed Bitch Competition behind a mature bitch.  I was very pleased with my 5 month old puppy as she held her own amongst more mature bitches.

On January 5, 2008 Sydni won her first two points at the Palm Spring Kennel Club show in Indio, CA.  She also won First Place Puppy and was eligible for the Best Puppy Competition.  Her show career included two Best of Breed wins, which is pretty impressive for a one year old puppy.

Even as a Veteran (7 years and older), she continued to present herself well, winning several Best Veteran Bitch Awards at ACDCGLA Regional Specialties in Southern California.

Sadly, Sydni had a major seizure the morning of October 4, 2020 and we needed to put her to sleep.  It was especially difficult because of COVID 19, we were not able to be with her during this time. She will be deeply missed.
